The following featured projects are a selection of ongoing and completed schemes in the
Private Residential sector:

	Feature Project
	Avenue Apartments, Countess Road, Killarney Development comprising large dual aspect apartments with access to private balconies, upper level duplexes and penthouses with access to private terraces and a creche on a sensitive four acre site in the centre of Killarney. The scheme, generally four storey blocks, is arranged in an east west axis to accommodate the existing avenue of lime trees and some significant stands of oak.

	Feature Project
	Countess Road Holiday Homes, Killarney Residential development comprising 11 holiday houses arranged around shared open spaces to form a ‘sráid bhaile’, a single street village with vehicular and pedestrian sharing of public open space. A number of the houses have been designed to meet with Category 3 of Fáilte Ireland’s Validated Accessible Scheme and cater specifically to people with disabilities.

	Feature Project
	Carton Demesne Villas Phased residential development consisting of conference villas adjoining Carton hotel, golf villas and demesne residences. Phase 1, completed June 2006, comprises 33 4-bed and 6-bed detached and semi-detached golf villas. Phase 2, comprising a further 49 villas, is currently on-site and is due for completion June 2007. Phase 3, comprising 36 villas, is due for completion December 2007.

	Feature Project
	Old Windmill Court, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick Mixed-use development comprising 133 apartments, contained in four storeys and a penthouse level; a ground floor level creche; primary health care centre; retail/commercial space and a basement level car park. A central block, located within a landscaped courtyard and enclosed by the scheme is accessed from the street by an ‘urban’ stairway.


		Coillte-Foynes Housing This residential development comprises 38 detached houses constructed entirely of timber using the Griffner system. The houses are sited on the wooded slopes forming a backdrop to Foynes village overlooking Foynes Harbour and Shannon River Estuary.

		E-Town, Miltown Malbay, Co Clare Pilot project in Shannon Development’s initiative to create a number of e-towns in the Shannon Region.The development is on a 2.2 acre site and will comprise of 12 housing units, six of which have an integral business unit and six starter business units.

		Green Building, Temple Bar, Dublin This contract incorporates a mixed use development of retail, offices and apartments.

		Griffner Coillte House MOLA has provided two new house designs for Griffner-Coillte, specifically launched for the Irish market. Drawing its inspiration from the traditional log house, the contemporary interpretations provide 184sqm and 192sqm of living space respectively.

		Kelso Apartments, Rathmines, Dublin This project involved the development of thirty-three double and triple bed apartments, organised in two separate buildings.

		Mungret College Lands - Phase 1 Housing An exclusive development consisting of a variety of house types, including detached, townhouse and duplex apartments.

		Osiedle Kampinos, Lipków, Warsaw The project comprises 123 homes on a 9 hectare site at Lipków, on the western outskirts of Warsaw. Four house types were designed, ranging from quadplex (or terraced) units at 170 sq.m. to duplex (or semi-detached) units at 210 and 230 sq.m. and detached units at 250 sq.m.

		Prokovsky Hills, Moscow This project incorporates 267 town homes in five configurations, ranging from three bed townhouses at 134 to five bed duplex townhomes at 112.

		Bridgefield Mixed Residential Development, Bishopstown, Cork Mixed development consisting of 108 residential units comprising dual aspect apartments, own door access duplex units and ‘empty nester’ units, a community centre and a crèche on a 6.01 acre site at the western periphery of Bishopstown.

		Roden Street Housing, Limerick This challenging project required the integration of eighteen townhouses into a tiny infill site on a very narrow, sloping street, the entire site being overshadowed by the tall, grim wall of an army barracks.

		Rosehill Housing, Limerick This urban site overlooks the River Shannon and is close to the commercial centre of Limerick city.

		Shanagarry Holiday Homes & Housing This residential development comprises of a total of 90 houses of which 32 units will be holiday homes, on a large green field site within walking distance of Shanagarry village.
