In the recently published 'Building Design World Architecture 100 2008' annual, world-wide survey of architectural practices, Murray O'Laoire Architects moved up the rankings to 70th in the world, up each year since 2004. This represents MÓLA’s highest ever ranking and the firm remains the the only Irish architectural practice to have scored in the top 100 practices for nine consecutive years. MÓLA is also rated again in the top 30 largest practices in Europe. This ranking reflects yet another strong year for MÓLA in Ireland, Russia and in Central Europe.
The 2008 BD Creative Team ranking (based on the number of non-architectural creative staff) saw MÓLA moving up nine places to 74th – the highest placed Irish practice in the survey.
This survey is of the world’s top architectural practices across the world including Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Middle East, India, China and Japan. This annual survey of practices has now been running for 15 consecutive years and is the only one of its kind.
