The National Sculpture Factory in Cork is hosting the des/IRE Conference on the 24th and 25th of May 2007. This conference is concerned with designing houses for contemporary Ireland and aims to explore attitudes to domestic architecture and propose a more creative future for the built environment.
MÓLA Director Oisín Creagh is on the National Sculpture Factory Board of Directors and has been closely involved in the conceiving and organising of the des/IRE conference.
Speakers at the conference include;
Minister Michael Martin TD, Wayne Hemmingway MBE, John Sorrell CBE, Richard Simmons and many more.
