MÓLA Awarded 'Best Architect' at the LAMA Awards '08

1984 and beyond

The LAMA award for 'Best Architect' was presented to Ralph Bingham, Director (MOLA). Also attending on behalf of MOLA were Emma Curley, Associate Director; Andre Negri, Architect; Maoiliosa Kiely, Marketing Manager and George Boyle, Associate Director.

 

MÓLA was honoured to be chosen as winner in the LAMA Awards '08 Best Architect catagory at the 2nd annual LAMA (Local Authority Members Association) Awards which were held in the Citywest Hotel on the 19th January 2008. The aim of the LAMA Awards is to reward individuals, initiatives and private companies for outstanding contributions and projects of benefit to the community.   

Over 800 people attended the event including the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government John Gormley.   Minister Gormley paid tribute to LAMA for organising this event saying:

"I believe events like tonight are very worthwhile, especially at this time of year, to reflect on what has been achieved and also look forward to the challenges ahead."

LAMA represents elected town city and county councillors nationwide. Awards were granted in 23 categories covering a wide range of projects and services all over the state.
