CIT Cork School of Music
The Cork School of Music is sited on the grounds of the old school and was one of the first five pilot PPP schools projects undertaken by the Irish Government. The school consists of specialist tuition areas, rehearsal hall, drama suite and lecture rooms and includes the most advanced IT, communication and specialist audio systems, integrated together to form a world class environment for audio teaching and learning. |

Tailteann, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick New-build multi-purpose teaching facility comprising two 325 sq.m. halls dedicated to the tuition of physical education and one 900 sq.m. multi-purpose hall used for recreational sport, examinations and the annual conferral ceremony. The building, conceived as a pavilion type structure, occupies a sloping site and is partially excavated into an embankment. |

Galway/Mayo
IT Learning Resource Centre, Galway
This 10,262 sq.m. landmark building comprises a Library/IT Department, 300 and 250 seater auditoriums, 40, 60, 90 and 100 seater lecture theatres, entrance foyer and directorate.
The design uses architectural elements as orientation devices, the building form to zone its functions, its skin to control the environment, and the use of materials as a hierarchical index.

Refurbishment & Extension to The Irish College, Louvain, Belgium
The Irish College, originally a seminary, is now home to the Louvain Institute for Ireland in Europe.
The project consists of the complete restoration and refurbishment of the existing buildings, conversion of the church to a 200-seater conference centre and the sensitive integration of new buildings and interventions.
MOLA is leading a team of Irish and Belgian consultants, including Belgian partner architects RO Berteloot. |

College S.J. - Master Plan
Master plan and phased development incorporating extensive remodelling of the existing campus, and the construction of two new blocks accommodating the O’Reilly Theatre, a new college entrance and concourse, sports roofs and the Dargan Moloney Science and Technology Building. |

O'Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College S.J., Dublin
This 560-seat auditorium, constructed as part of the second phase of redevelopment, accommodates a range of functions; including the assembly of 1,000 standing pupils, examinations, smaller parent teacher meetings and the twice-yearly Grand Mass. The technical and acoustic needs were also explicit: perfect acoustics for the unassisted human voice and no proscenium, and simultaneously facilities for a cast of 100 people, 500 spectators, a proscenium arch and an amplified sound system. |

This project comprises of the expansion of an existing multi-purpose facility and the provision of improved support facilities. Wrapping around the existing hall on three sides, the extension includes a two hundred seater multi-purpose space; seminar rooms; hospitality suite; increased foyer space; health centre, students’ union facilities, function room, chaplaincy changing rooms and a crèche. |

Multi-purpose centre accommodating: an indoor sports playing area; a 700 seater public assembly facility; flat floor exam facility; a raised stage area and ancillary accommodation. The centre is entered from the main college street through a glazed link. The form and materials of this building integrate with the existing campus development while reinforcing the master plan. |

LIT Millenium Theatre, Limerick
The Millennium Theatre is located at the prominent South East ‘front’ corner of the LIT campus and presentis a strong built edge to the campus entrance gateway. The facility consists of a 350 seater auditorium with stage and ancillary accommodation and an entrance foyer opening off a new expanded entrance plaza to the front of the building that links to the existing pedestrian entrance to the College. |

Master Plan & Phased Development Master Plan and phased development of Mary Immaculate College (MIC), one of two national centres for primary level teacher training in Ireland. The development incorporates a new Multi-Purpose Teaching Hall, An Slí, a Westerly extension of the existing Lourdes Corridor, and infrastructure works including a new campus entrance. |

NUI, Galway Arts Millenium Building, Galway
Post graduate arts and modern languages centre comprising three built elements: the pavilion like multi-purpose hall; the three storey linear block of smaller teaching spaces and offices and the large span structure which contains the lecture theatres and central facilities. The scheme incorporated the provision of a new pedestrian and cyclist axial route and the creation a coherent edge to the campus. |

UCD Student Centre, Dublin
Student Centre accommodating extensive common/social areas; retail units; a 600 seater multi-purpose hall; meeting rooms; students union offices; student health centre and bar. The multi-purpose hall can act independently and features retractable seating and sliding acoustic walls that can divide the space in two for simultaneous events. Administrative, support and ancillary areas are also provided. |

UL Glucksman Library & Information Services Building, Limerick
10,000 sq.m. building segregated into three projecting glass ‘fingers’ arranged around two central atria off the main spine of the building. The spine accommodates all the book stacks and volumes. The ‘fingers’ contain all the reading spaces and computer points. The two Atria act as environmental ‘lungs’ and control, with the BMS, the internal temperature and climate. |
