This section of our website, Competition & Ideas, is dedicated to a selection of various MOLA proposals and competition entries which have not been realised or have been put on hold, as we feel these are interesting, valuable and can be built upon.

These projects also reflect MOLA’s continuing ambition to nurture visionary ideas and innovation as core ingredients in the design process and in the role of Architects in modern society.

Creativity & Innovation
By continuing to do competitions even in times as good as these we are keeping our creative minds open and fresh. This in turn encourages continual new and innovative approaches in finding solutions. This creativity and innovation is also encouraged through our bi-annual MOLA Colloquium, where in a creative forum, we explore and exchange ideas through presentations and discussion on design and the design processes. We also hold an internal Innovation Awards Competition which rewards the most creative ideas and solutions on MOLA’s projects. These events foster a culture of innovation and allow these ideas to be shared across the office. The selected projects in this section are of differing scale. They give a flavour of the creativity and hence vibrancy that is achieved.
